1. About Thodunta

Thodunta ("we", "us", "our") is an anonymous, real-time chat platform that connects users with strangers for text-based conversations. The service is operated from India and is available at thodunta.chat.

Thodunta does not require real names, profile photos, or social accounts. Users are identified only by a temporary session code.

2. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years of age or older to use this service.
• By using Thodunta, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
• If you are under 18, you are strictly prohibited from using this platform.

3. User Conduct

You agree that you will NOT use Thodunta to:

• Share, send, or solicit sexually explicit content involving minors (CSAM) — this is a criminal offence under Indian law and will be reported immediately to authorities.
• Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse any other user.
• Share personal information of others without consent (name, phone, address, photos).
• Share, promote, or distribute links to external websites, spam, or malicious content.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform.
• Engage in any activity that is illegal under Indian law or the laws of your jurisdiction.

Thodunta reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban users who violate these rules.

4. Link Sharing Policy

Sharing external links in chat is strictly prohibited. Any message containing a URL will be automatically blocked and a warning will be shown. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

5. Automated Chat Assist

Thodunta may use automated systems to enhance your chat experience, such as facilitating smoother connections or providing conversation prompts when a live partner is unavailable. These systems operate under standard data processing guidelines. Use of the platform implies acknowledgment of this feature as part of the service infrastructure.

6. Premium Subscription

• Thodunta offers a Premium subscription at ₹299 for 30 days.
• Payments are processed securely via Cashfree Payments.
• After a successful payment, Premium features are activated within seconds.
• Refund Policy: Subscriptions are non-refundable once activated, except where required by law. If you face a technical issue, contact us within 48 hours.
• Premium does not auto-renew. You will need to manually renew after 30 days.

7. Privacy & Data

• Thodunta does not store chat messages. Conversations are real-time only and are not logged.
• We collect and store only: your phone number (for OTP verification) and your premium status.
• Images shared in chat are automatically deleted from our servers within 10 seconds.
• We do not sell your data to any third party.
• We use Firebase Authentication for OTP verification. Firebase's privacy policy applies to that process.

8. Image Sharing

Users may share images in chat. By sharing an image, you confirm that:

• You own the image or have rights to share it.
• The image does not contain explicit, illegal, or harmful content.
• You understand images are automatically deleted from our servers after 10 seconds and cannot be recovered.

9. Limitation of Liability

Thodunta provides the service "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for:

• Content shared between users.
• Any harm, loss, or damage arising from use of the platform.
• Interruptions, outages, or technical issues.
• Any actions taken by other users during chat sessions.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium in the preceding 30 days.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and design elements of Thodunta are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without written permission.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Thodunta at any time, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the platform.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. We encourage resolving disputes informally first by contacting us.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at thodunta.chat/terms. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
